Stockton McMullin (b. 1992) is a contemporary painter whose practice explores philosophy, nature, and existential reflection. His current body of work considers the human desire to make sense of existence and the experiences that shape it.

Balancing rough and refined visual languages, Stockton allows surface, texture, and imperfection to remain visible as evidence of presence.​

Originally from Connecticut, Stockton has exhibited his work in Connecticut, New York City, and Utah. He currently lives and works in Southern Utah, where his studio is located on the outskirts of Zion National Park—a place that continues to inform and inspire his current work.
